Wrestlers as Marvel and DC Superheroes and Villains: part 2

Following on from our article comparing your favourite indie wrestlers to superheroes and villains from across Marvel and DC - which you can read here - we decided to do a part two.

So without any further need for explanation, these are ten more wrestlers from across the world who would be excellent stand ins for some honourable heroes and vicious villains.

Robbie X - Spiderman

Do we need to explain this one, have you seen how Spiderman flies through the cities using his web, are you telling me Robbie doesn’t do just that already? He already swings himself across the ring enough to justify himself as a perfect Spidey…but who would be his Mary Jane?

Nightshade - Lady Deathstrike

The long time nemesis of Wolverine - who in our last article was portrayed as Kasey Owens (damn'we’d love to see those two had a long feud) - she’s got sharp claws and even sharper senses. It’s tough to get anything over her!

Michael Oku - Superman

The top guy, the ultimate hero of British wrestling, the one who is at the top of the pyramid, the first name you think of when you think of British indies at the moment. There’s no doubting Oku has put in the hard graft to get to the top, let’s hope he stays there for a long time.

Nina Samuels - Enchantress

Known for causing mayhem where ever she goes, putting people under her spell and then using her incredible powers to overpower her opponents….am I talking about Nina Samuels or Enchantress? You can’t tell? That’s why this is such a perfect comparison.

Lykos Gym - Batman and Robin

The perfect anti-hero and his underappreciated sidekick! Lykos is beloved no matter what he does in terms of bringing people to justice in the ring, it’s impossible to not find him supremely cool. And Lykos II, much like Robin, is one of the most under-appreciated stars of the scene for the work he does.

Charli Evans - Mystique

Why cast Chevs as Mystique? Simple, Charli Evans is versatile as fuck! She’s a brutal deathmatch wrestler, she’s a hard-hitting singles star and when needed she can have a match that’s side-splittingly funny. She can do it all and adapt herself to any situation.

Rickey Shane Page - Galactus

There’s a reason Galactus is known as the Devourer of Worlds, he will crush any in his path, wiping them from existence. We imagine the same would happen coming up against RSP, come on look at him, you’ll be thrown into non-existence is no time at all.

LA Taylor - She-Hulk

Now in our last article we portrayed Skye Smitson as The Hulk, so who better to be She-Hulk that Skye’s in-ring partner in crime LA Taylor. They’re both terrifyingly strong and would wreak absolute havoc together….all in the name of good, of course.

Ian Skinner - The Dazzler

One of the foes the X-Men has frequently had to come up against, Ian was an obvious choice for The Dazzler based purely on his sweet, sweet, style that leaves others blinded by it’s shininess and suave.

The Backslide Girlz - Star Lord, Gamora and Rocket

This one is easy right? A superhero trio that is funny, has epic dance moves and can pull out any trick in the book. Of course it’s Shay Kassidy as Star Lord, Kingsley as Gamora and the every loveable and cuddly Everett Connors as Rocket. I think we nailed that!
