Indie Wrestlers as Fireworks
BONFIRE Night takes place this week and there will be fireworks aplenty going off across the country.
But here at Grapple Theory we like to showcase the wrestlers that provide a bang. So in honour of Guy Fawkes Night we’ve taken the time to compare your favourite wrestling stars to some famous fireworks.
Crossette - Lykos Gym
The pairing of Kid Lykos and Kid Lykos II have us seeing double, making them the perfect match for the beautiful Crosette.
The firework bursts in a blaze of colour and then doubles itself.
Kamuro - The Dream Dollz
Much like the Bratz-esque partnership of Mariah May and Zoe Lucas, the Kamuro is one of the more spectacular looking fireworks in the bunch.
It pops with the shiny, glitz and glamour that can only be compared to that of the two shining stars of the BritWres scene
The Spider - Blair Onyx
We know our friends in Europe don’t celebrate bonfire night but we couldn’t mention the Spider firework without the Russian star.
The firework is well known for looking like an arachnid when it bursts.
The Cake - Doug Williams
Now the entry for this one could come down to which definition of cake you decide to go with, but we’ve decided to compare it to Doug Williams.
Much like the BritWres legend, the firework just keeps going and going, it’s longevity is without question and whenever you think it’s done it bursts back into life.
Catherine Wheel - Raven Creed
Perhaps the most famous firework by name, much like the devilish Raven Creed it spins like a whirling dervish, flies about everywhere and overall just looks super cool and wild.
Chrysanthemum - Priscilla
The Queen of the Ring is bold, colourful and simply fabulous, much like the flower after which this firework is named.
When it bursts, the Chrysanthemum sprouts leaves like a flower in bloon and is a sight to behold.
*Side note: if you’re planning on celebrating this year please pay consideration to families with pets as they can be easily startled by the loud noises.
