THE teasing vignettes are over and we finally know that Ruby Soho IS ALL ELITE!
The former Ruby Riott and Heidi Lovelace has finally put an end to the questions of where she will end up after departing Vince McMahon’s sports entertainment juggernaut.
A hugely talented performer, who was criminally underused, there are so many incredible matches Ruby Soho could have in Tony Khan’s growing promotion - and these are just some of them:
KRIS STATLANDER

Ruby is already familiar with Statlander’s new partners in crime, Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy. It could make for some very fun backstage vignettes and they’d put on a fantastic contest with their hard hitting styles.
THUNDER ROSA

There are so many people that Ruby could’ve had this sort of match with in WWE but was never given a chance. Can you imagine what these two could do with 15 minutes in the ring?
After she eliminated Rosa last in the Casino Battle Royale, surely a rematch will be on the cards.
HIKARU SHIDA

If Soho is to challenge for the AEW Women’s Title at some point she will likely have to go through Shida at some point
The former champ has already had some stellar matches and could do wonders to give Soho a fantastic contest - especially given Soho’s time in Stardom when she was Heidi Lovelace
PENELOPE FORD

It’s clear that Soho is going to start her run in AEW as a babyface and the arrogant and brash Ford would be the ideal first feud to bring her into the company
It would be a good way to put Soho over and push her into a more prominent role

With quite similar styles there’s a good chance they could put a fantastic display in the ring.
A battle of two underused WWE stars with a point to prove, a number one contenders contest would be the ideal way to have these two to head-to-head
The two have faced off before in NXT but only ever in tag contests
JADE CARGILL

Cargill’s push has been slower than initially expected but there’s no denying she’s an absolute monster in the ring.
This has the potential to be an epic heel vs face clash, with Soho absolutely playing to role of the underdog.
Naturally, Soho shouldn’t lose too early into her run but even a defeat to Cargill wouldn’t be too detrimental - as long as she’s booked well beforehand.

It wass inevitable that Soho would challenge for the AEW women’s title at some point but so soon? After winning the Casino Battle Royale she gets her shot right away!
With the incredible matches Britt has had in AEW we have no doubt she’d shine against Soho and give her a brilliant 20-30 minute contest - and if it’s no DQ all the better.
