The Coolest Title Belts In British Wrestling

There are plenty of promotions here in British wrestling and, as such, there are a lot of title belts. Be they tag belts, singles belts, hardcore belts, or whatever else, some of the designs are pure genius!

So here at Grapple Theory we’ve taken a look at some of our favourite BritWres title belts.

Which Indie promotion title belt is your favourite?

NORTH Wrestling - NORTH Wrestling Championship

The pride of wrestling in Newcastle, NORTH are one of the most unique promotions in the country and this belt really encapsulates what they’re all about!

TNT Extreme Wrestling – Tag Team Championships

Trust TNT to have a belt that reminds us of Robot Wars. It really has that extreme feel and looks super badass. Be careful not to get too close, especially if you’re not the holder!

Nova: Women’s Pro Wrestling - Women’s Independent Wrestling Championship

This is the newest belt, only recently unveiled by one of London’s newest promotions. Look at it, it’s spectacular! It screams indie wrestling, literally, and is perfect for this young promotion that’s trying to find its feet.

Kapow Wrestling – Heroweight Championship

A name like Kapow sparks up images of those cool comic book strips and of a superhero knocking out the bad guy. Their title backs up those images with its cartoony look that just suits how fun and exciting the promotion is.

Kamikaze Pro Wrestling - Kamikaze Pro Title

Let’s be fair, every single title belt at Kamikaze was worthy of a place on this list. All of them just look stunning and really suit the feel the promotion has. Best of all, they’re all unique in their own way.

Lucha Britannia – Lucha Britannia Wrestling Championship

This belt just screams old school! It takes you back to the time when wrestling was on TV regularly in the UK – when the likes of Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks ruled the world.

It’s a mix of camp, fun and stylish that anyone would be proud to wear.

Pro Wrestling: Eve – International Championship

This belt is truly international, at the time of writing it’s being held by Yuu who has defended it plenty of times out in Japan. But we can’t wait to see it back on these shores, because look how cool it is!

Attack! Pro Wrestling – Attack Pro Wrestling Championship

Much like Kapow, Attack! Have gone with a brilliantly cartoony look for their belt. It has fun, it has excitement and it looks unique.

Attack! have only recently returned to running shows - and we’re delighted to have them back.

Riptide Wrestling - Brighton Championship

As far as design goes this could easily be top of the pile. The amount of work that must have gone into engraving that is brilliant.

And unlike a lot of other titles, this belt has gone the extra mile to make sure it encapsulates the surroundings the Brighton promotion finds itself in.

PROGRESS Wrestling - PROGRESS Women’s Championship

You’d expect Proggy to have some epic looking belts and indeed they do, but it’s the women’s title that’s the most stunning of the three - at least in my opinion!
