Indie Wrestlers As Popular Cartoon Characters
We all love wrestling and surely I can safely say we all love cartoons! Whether it’s adult animations, anime or kids cartoons, we all have a sentimental favourite.
So we’ve taken a look at some classic cartoon characters and compared them to some of our favourite indie wrestlers!
Aiden Von Engeland - Dexter (Dexter’s Laboratory)
As a science PhD graduate we’d be foolish not to given Aiden the distinction of being the smartest cartoon character - although Jimmy Neutron may dispute this!
Charles Crowley - Dick Dastardly (Wacky Races)
Always trying to cheat his way to glory - and in the case on TNT doing something Dick never did and actually succeeding - Crowley has shown he’s not above using some truly Dastardly schemes to get his wins…does that make Alexxis Falcon Muttley?
Charli Evans, Shazza McKenzie, Jessica Troy - Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup (The Powerpuff Girls)
Sugar, Spice and all things nice, but when adding way too much Chemical X, this powerful Aussie trio were created! They may look sweet and friendly but cross them and you’ll be on the wrong end of a beating.
Benjamin Harland - Ben Tennyson (Ben 10)
We can’t confirm whether the Sweet Prince of Pro Wrestling has a watch that makes him turn into monsters, but it certainly would be cool to see!
Tate Mayfairs and Leon Slater - CatDog
This pair, like CatDog, are polar opposites but have both enjoyed a joint impressive rise in the last 12 months. Seeing them this close together would be hilarious.
Danny Black - Danny Fenton (Danny Phantom)
We would love to see the high-flyer using his special talents to fight all sorts of ghosts and ghouls - he could even bring his CPF mates along as back-up.
Chris Ridgeway, Ethan Allen, Luke Jacobs, Rhio, Keinen Krishna - Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil and Angelica (Rugrats)
This great band of trouble makers would are known for having fun and causing chaos across a number of promotions and they definitely remind us of the wild Rugrats.
Lizzy Evo - Kim Possible
This was a tough one as there are so many badass women in indie wrestling, but we’ve opted to go for the Scouse star who is constantly the star of the show.
Gene Munny - Scooby-Doo (Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?)
The Damn Dirty Dog is both a dog and a detective, so it’s a simple choice to make him this crime-fighting mutt.
Mad Kurt and Harry Chapman - Phineas and Ferb
Two brothers, crafting new and innovative ways to make their marks on British wrestling. We haven’t quite figured out who the Candace trying to bust them each week would be.
