Booking British wrestling stars on Strictly Come Dancing

Variety wrestling is becoming more and more popular on the British wrestling scene, but nobody seems to have booked a dance-off show yet and it’s baffling!

So here at Grapple Theory we’ve taken it upon ourselves to book the ultimate BritWresly Come Dancing show. Let’s take a look at our competitors;

Amira & Michael Oku
Signature dance: Tango

Credit: @amirawrestler/@britwrespics

Our first entrant is Amira as the fiery Irish flame is the person who inspired this list with a tweet she put out earlier this year. We’ve given her and Oku the tango as it’s full of drama, perfect for their current RevPro storyline and a real blend of their personalities.

Charles Crowley and Alexxis Falcon
Signature dance: Rumba

Credit: @crowleycarnival/@tonyknox

The perfect dance for a party, and you just know that Crowley and Alexxis know how to throw a raging party. They’d make this dance so ridiculously fun and corny!

Jetta and Charlie Morgan
Signature dance: Viennese Waltz

They have a new heelish dynamic in Pro Wrestling: EVE but we’d still love to see these two get suited up for this classic dance, bringing some elegance to the stage.

Lana Austin and Rob Drake
Signature dance: Paso Doble

Drama, passion, intensity, we reckon these two would bring it all to the table - and we may even get to see Lana sing along as she dances.

Danny Black, Joe Lando, Maverick Mayhew, Callum Newman
Signature dance: Showdance

We all know that these four are always capable of stealing the show, and the showdance is the ultimate show-stealer piece. Flips, tricks, lifts and loads more, this quartet would be a joy to watch in this scenario.

Ivy and Brady Phillips
Signature dance: Foxtrot

These two would glide seamlessly across the room and encapsulate this dance perfectly - as long as they don’t trip over Ivy’s bat.

Gene Munny and Elijah
Signature dance: Salsa

Credit: @gene_munny/@markkidsley

The Salsa was huge in the 1970s, which is part of the era where the Munnywood Blondes ruled the territories. It’s only fitting they bust out their fiery moves for this number.

LA Taylor and Skye Smitson
Signature dance: American Smooth

Credit: @skyesmitson

With Lana Austin busy in her own dance, Skye and LA would have to pick up the slack and try for the win themselves. Of course they’d have to throw in the towel if Lana made the final too.

TK Cooper and Chuck Mambo
Signature dance: Samba

Credit: @puretkc/@blueradical

You know that Sunshine Machine would really bring out the sun with this number, it would turn the entire venue into one big party - perhaps they can bring out the balloons they had at Riot Cabaret too.

Mariah May and Xia Brookside
Signature dance: Jive

Credit: @mariahmayx

Flying back from Japan just for this competition, two-thirds of Club Venus would have so much fun with the Jive and would end the night on a high.

Who would you pick as your winner?
