The Ultimate BritWres vs Impact Wrestling Dream Card

LAST WEEK Impact Wrestling announced their huge return to the UK, after eight long years away from these shores. They’re going to bring an absolutely stacked roster of talent and we can’t wait to see them in action.

However, there are some amazing British wrestling stars we’d love to see taken on the biggest names on the Impact roster.

So, without any further delay, this is our ultimate BritWres vs Impact dream card.

Trinity vs LA Taylor

There were PLENTY of wrestlers we could’ve picked to face Trinity, but with the contrast in styles this match would offer we’d love to see the (at time of writing) Knockout Women’s Champ go up against one of the country’s most hard-hitting competitors.

Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) vs The Greedy Souls (Brendan White & Danny Jones)

Now Alex is currently Impact’s top champion and there’s plenty of wrestlers we’d love to see him face in singles action - but we couldn’t possibly pass up the chance to se MCMG in action here in the UK. And we think the absolute war they’d have with Brendan and Danny would be one for the ages.

Lio Rush vs Leon Slater vs Ace Austin vs Dereiss vs Trey Miguel vs Robbie X - Ultimate X Match

We couldn’t have an Impact tour without fantasy booking an Ultimate X match! And we’ve pitted three of the best in Impact vs three of the best in Britwres for it. Leon, Dereiss and Robbie are three of the most entertaining wrestlers in the country right now and would steal the show in this type of match up.

MK Ultra (Killer Kelly & Masha Slamovich) vs The She Wolves (Kasey Owens & Molly Spartan)

Kelly and Masha was the dream team we never knew we needed and they have an incredible dynamic! And while there are plenty of amazing tag teams they could face, we think a date with the She Wolves would be a brutal match full of the viciousness we deserve to see.

Subculture (Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster) vs CPF (Danny Black & Joe Lando)

An all BritWres line up for what we hope, come the day of the show, would still be an Impact Tag Title bout. Danny and Joe would give Subculture the match of their lives and it would be an absolute show stealer.

Deonna Purrazzo vs Lizzy Evo

Deonna’s time with Impact has been nothing short of spectacular. She’s cemented herself as one of the best wrestlers in the world and we’d love to see her go one-on-one with Lizzy. The Liverbird has been on such a roll in the last two years and deserves a big time match up!

Josh Alexander vs Michael Oku

Come on, do I even need to explain this one? Canada’s finest vs Britain’s finest in an all out battle for the ages. These two have already battled once before in six-man tag and we NEED a one-on-one sequel.

Rosemary vs Session Moth Martina

We’d love to see these two clash, simply to see if Martina could turn Rosemary into a party girl during the duration of the match. We can imagine that Rosemary would also be able to freak Moth out, which would also be enjoyable viewing.

Tommy Dreamer vs Clint Margera

For something a little more violent, may I pitch the absolute bloodbath that would be Dreamer vs Margera! A hardcore legend vs the man who, in this writer’s mind at least, is the best death match wrestler in the country!

Gisele Shaw vs Safire Reed

It’s going to be great to see Gisele back on these shores, she means so much to the British scene, so why not give her one of British wrestling’s absolute best up-and-coming stars in the form of the hard hitting Safire!

‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey vs Luke Jacobs

We’d really love to see ‘Speedball’ battle against the tough as nails former RevPro Cruiserweight champion. This would be a battle for the ages, one that meshes two different styles but would be full of stiff as nails kicks and ‘woo’ inducing chops.
