The BritWres Stars To Watch In 2021
Danny Black
Part of the return of Progress, following shows starting up again, Black performed brilliantly in the Natural Progression Series – despite losing in the semi-finals to Warren Banks.
Since then he’s had some fantastic matches with the likes of Chris Ridgeway, Spike Trivet and Kid Lykos. And while he hasn’t won any of those contests, it shouldn’t be long before he gets the big push he deserves.
Lucia Lee
Despite only being in the wrestling industry for two years, Lee has already fought against some of the best up and coming stars in BritWres.
The lockdown slowed her momentum slightly but a best of five series at the midpoint of 2020 with Chantal Jordan showed off just how good Lee is.
She is currently a TRIPLE belt holder, with the top titles in Catch, TNT and PCW ALL round the waist of the Scouse sensation.
Dan Moloney
Drilla is by no means a newcomer and is already firmly a BritWres fan favourite.
But as shows come back after Covid there is a definite need to keep your eye on Dan and his work.
Most recently, as shows returned, Moloney delighted fans across the country by putting Mad Kurt in his place at Rev Pro.
Kurtis Chapman
And speaking of Kurt, he’s spent the last couple of years improving in the ring but it’s on social media where he has really thrived.
With constant put downs, jokes and hassling, Kurt has made sure that no matter who he feuds with he’s going to build an audience full of people who want to see him get his ass kicked.
Lizzy Evo
Up until 2019 she was known as Lizzy Styles, but with a name change has come a change in attitude and a string of impressive results.
She made it to the finals of RevPro’s 2019 Queen of the Ring and Futureshock’s Women’s Legacy Tournament in the same year.
The Liverpudlian is also the current TNT Extreme Women’s Champion.
Callum Newman
Anyone who has watched RevPro’s shows online in the last year will be familiar with this fantastic young high flyer.
The two time London Lucha League champion has been turning heads across the country with his acrobatic style of wrestling.
He best be careful though, if he’s not he may just fly himself into the stratosphere.
Alexxis Falcon
Like Lizzy, Alexxis also made a big impact in FutureShock ahead of the pandemic, holding the title for nine months before eventually dropping it to Hollie Barlow just before Christmas.
Falcon seems an appropriate name for the Yorkshire wrestler because she is set to fly high in BritWres.
Luke Jacobs and Ethan Allen
Jacobs bounced back from the pandemic really well, winning the Progress NPS within just a couple of matches of shows restarting.
Jacobs and tag partner Ethan Allen look set for a huge push – and there’s no reason to expect his rise to slow any time soon.
Allen was also part of the NPS and had a cracking match with Jacobs as part of that – proving that both are equally capable on their own as they are as a duo.
Maverick Mayhew
Whether you know him from his singles run or his tag team work with Connor Mills, there’s no denying the talent that Mayhew possesses.
He’s proven to be a versatile performer, who has journeyed the UK working for various promotions, Mayhew is deserving of a big singles push.
Clementine and Charles Crowley
We decided to put both members of the Big Dangerous Scary Mammals (BDSM) tag team on here together because of their fantastically talented teamwork, but they could both have made individual entries.
Clementine is the London Lucha League Champion and Crowley is the future of bonkers wrestling!
Both are set for big things in the next 12 months and don’t be surprised if you see them heading up big shows in the near future.
Jordon Breaks
The Brighton star had his first match in 2018 and quickly caught the eye of fans. But it wasn’t until a cracking match with Spike Trivet at the Riptide Rumble where people began to really sit up and take notice.
He looked to be on for a big push at Progress this year but injury has meant those plans have been halted - but just you wait and see what he does on his return!
