The Best Unsigned Indie Wrestlers In The World
There is some truly amazing wrestling talent in the world today, but not all of them are signed to major promotions. The likes of WWE, AEW, Impact, NJPW and more have incredible performers - but there’s a huge depth of superstars on the indies as well.
In this article I’ll be taking a look at some of the world’s best unsigned talent, the names we can’t believe haven’t been picked up by a major organisation - although we’re not complaining because we love having them around!
Let us know which names you’d add to this list…
Miyu Yamashita
In my mind Miyu is one of the best wrestler in the world, period. Signed or unsigned, she is phenomenal, the way she works with her opponents, her ice cold stares, her ferocious kicks. She’s a weapon.
Miyu lifts any women’s division she’s a part of and has been overseas to America and the UK helping making talent in those territories look even better!
Bryan Keith
Come on, do we need to even explain this. Ask anyone in Texas, nah just anyone in America, and they’ll tell you that Bryan Keith is one of the best in the business. It’s truly wild that the rest of the world hasn’t yet seen the exceptional talent he has.
Lizzy Evo
Lizzy has risen through the ranks to become of the standout performers of this incredible BritWres scene. She is a wrestler who can do it all and isn’t afraid to put her body on the line in the ring to entertain the crowd and win matches with style.
She was, of course, signed by NXT UK until they shut down, but now she’s back on the indies and killing it. It’s surely only a matter of time until another big company takes a chance on the Liverbird.
Brady Phillips
Yep, we’ve said it, we’ve put it out there! Brady Phillips is one of the most underrated wrestlers in the UK, he’s a truly exceptional talent and it’s wild that a big company hasn’t seen that yet.
We want to see Brady everywhere; Japan, America, all over the place, having absolutely banging matches with EVERYONE!
The Hex
Marti Belle and Allysin Kay are an absolutely brilliant tag team. They’ve had big matches in major promotions but remained as free agents.
They may have had offers, we aren’t privy to that information, but they seem happy as free agents and that’s the most important thing. They’re both exceptional and signed or not they deserve more spotlights and more recognition.
Starboy Charlie
Charlie already has more than half a decade of wrestling behind him and is tipped as one of the biggest and brightest young indie stars in the world.
It may be a bit premature of us to suggest it’s a ‘shock’ that he hasn’t been signed, but he’s genuinely just that good and we’ll be more than shocked if he’s not at a promotion with TV time in the coming years.
Trish Adora
Trish had made herself known as one of the best in America a long time ago, but now she’s showing the rest of the world what they’ve been missing out on this whole time.
She’s an absolute powerhouse and not to be messed with!
Robbie X
One of the absolute best Cruiserweights in the world, Robbie has thrived since wrestling returned after the pandemic and now people are sitting up and taking notice.
He can do it all, the technical grappling, the hard hitting powerhouse stuff, and the high flying. He’s one of the most exciting pro wrestlers on the scene today.
Jessica Troy
Ask ANYBODY in Australia, and trust me we’ve asked a few, and they’ll tell you that Jessica Troy is one of the best wrestlers in the world.
Watch her world and you’ll see exactly why! It’s frankly criminal that she isn’t a worldwide name at this point. She should be ripping arms off across the globe.
Cara Noir
Not only one of the best wrestlers in the world, but with one of the most spectacular entrances as well! Can you imagine Cara’s entrance at WrestleMania? It would be stunning!
He’s a true master of the craft and can have Match of the Year contenders with anyone, he’s just that damn good!
Charli Evans
Whether you’re reading this in the UK, Australia or Japan, chances are you know of Charli Evans and will understand what a talent she is.
Let’s face it, there’s only one big company we need to see her in, AEW. We NEED that match between her and Eddie Kingston and when it happens it deserves to be in a huge arena, in front of a global TV audience.
