The Best BritWres Promotions Of 2021

BritWres has returned with a bang following lockdown and while we’re still waiting for some companies to return - and hoping some others stay away - there’s been a number of promotions that haven’t slowed down since coming back.

And while we could put a few dozen promotions on this list we’re sticking to just five.

Check these guys out in 2022.

TNT Extreme Wrestling

Liverpool’s most violent promotion has really come out of lockdown flying. Some incredible matches, both extreme and otherwise, which have seen new champions crowned, feuds ended and started and a host of brilliant matches.

And we’re not just talking about the ‘Extreme’ shows, their Ignition events are helping showcase the best up and coming talent in the country.

Catch Pro Wrestling

The team at Catch only had one show pre-lockdown so it was always going to be interesting to see how they came back.

The answer, with gusto! The Manchester company have been putting on elite level shows and are quickly becoming one of the best promotions in not just the north but the entire country.

Jurassic Pro Wrestling

The newly-formed Essex company have only had two shows, at the time of writing, but they’ve sold both out and really staked their claim to be one of the best promotions of 2022.

The dinosaur theme is fantastic and they’ve got some of the best young talent to showcase on it.

North Wrestling

Newcastle’s shining beacon in wrestling, North are excellent at championing the biggest and brightest names from the north of the country - as the name suggests.

With things on the up for them they’re going from strength to strength and would easily be among the country’s top five promotions.

Wrestle Carnival

Another company newly-formed in 2021, Wrestle Carnival is in the capable hands of Gary Ward - who has years of experience in the business.

As such, Carnival shows have had a stack of HUGE names mixing with the best up and comers in BritWres. It will be interesting to see how they handle not just their home show of Nottingham but hitting the road in 2022 too.
