Indie Wrestlers As Dogs

The world of independent wrestling is filled with stars who put their bodies on the line for our entertainment. But there are some shocking similarities between our favourite wrestlers and man’s best friend; some are hairy, some are hyper and one is a Damn Dirty Dog.

I should add that the inspiration for this came from the very mean Mr Charles Crowley who compared Alexxis Falcon to a dog (but really just put two photos of her).

Hopefully these comparisons will be a little more favourable…

Gene Munny - German Shepherd

In a shockingly poor piece of planning on our part, we didn’t even ask Gene what dog he’d compare himself to when we interviewed him.

However, I think he’s probably like a German Shepherd. The ultimate family dog, one that is fiercely loyal but also willing to please its owners by heaping love and affection on them. Not to mention the energy levels!

Charles Crowley - Beagle

Well known for being a hunting dog, the Beagle is full of energy and hard-working. Determined to do what it takes to win over their owner and have a good time.

Plus, the aforementioned hunting background fits Crowley perfectly, always waiting for the perfect moment to strike to beat his opponents.

Ivy - Dachsund

Loyal, energetic, a little stubborn, we think the Dachsund suits Ivy to a tee. Don’t be fooled by their stature, both are feisty and powerful and mischievous enough that you’ll have your work cut out with them.

Although, we’re not sure a Dachsund would be able to wield a baseball bat the way Ivy does.

Clementine - Cocker Spaniel

The curly hair immediately made us think of Clem, but there’s more than that to link our two choices here.

Both are excellent family dogs, well their for being well-loved by children and both have a tendency to become cagey and irritable if they don’t get enough energy out.

Chuck Mambo - Sheepdog

It’s the hair, I mean come on look at the comparison, both wild and untamed, but also both fun loving and always up for play time!

If someone can arrange Mambo and a Sheepdog meet up it would be so worth watching the fun ensue.

Molly Spartan - Scottish Terrier

Now, this one is definitely not any sort of lookalike comparison, it’s just that Scottish Terrier seems a very apt name for Spartan.

She’s fierce and aggressive in the ring but out of it wouldn’t hurt a fly - but maybe a nickname to consider. Molly?

Kasey - Siberian Husky

We decided to split the She Wolves up for this list but either member could portray either of the dogs we’ve selected for them.

As a She Wolf it’s only fitting that we added in a more wolf-like breed into the mix. A hard work ethic puts these pooches high up the list for those who want a dog packed with energy and stamina.

Will Kroos - Boxer

Both of these picks can look a little intimidating from a distance but once you get to know them they can be as cuddly as lovable as their counterparts who may look more docile.

However, both are not to be tangled with once in a fighting mood.

Alexxis Falcon - Corgi

After Crowley was so cruel to her in his heelish ribbing we decided to make sure she was also given a nice comparison, in the form of the dog that’s a firm fan favourite.

A smile that lights up a room and fun and playful to boot, but still not to be messed with.

Shreddy - Great Dane

Much like Kroos, Shreddy is a big guy with a big heart and big muscles to boot. You would definitely fear Shreddy is an in-right environment but out of it there’s no doubting the loyalty.
